Additionally, the house had everything we needed for a pleasant stay, and the central yet quiet position ensured peaceful nights. I highly recommend this accommodation option for anyone visiting York.

The room at Historic House in the Heart of York City Centre was absolutely cozy and inviting. The city views from the window were stunning, making me feel like I was right in the heart of all the action. The free WiFi was a bonus for me as I like to stay connected while traveling. The bathroom with a shower and free toiletries felt luxurious and refreshing.

Personally, I found that the bathrooms with a bath were not to my preference. But hey, that's just me.

The spacious and nicely decorated house had everything we needed, including free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and all the kitchen utensils we could ask for. The off-site car park was a bonus, and the presence of cots made it family-friendly. our stay was jaw-droppingly comfortable and we would definitely choose this place again for a longer stay. No smoking on site.

The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the easy accessibility of the hotel. The corridors were wide enough for me to navigate with my walking stick, and there were handrails in the bathrooms for added support.

I would have loved to see more assistance available for senior people during our stay. Although the children working there were polite and friendly, it would have been helpful to have someone readily available to help carry bags or provide guidance on local attractions specifically catering to senior visitors.

The value for money was excellent and the room was incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect, with everything within walking distance, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The convenience of having a microwave and dining area made me feel like a true culinary genius. And the cherry on top? Free private parking! Take that, parking meters!

Oh, just a teeny tiny request - could they please add some more storage space in the bathroom? Because, you know, I definitely didn't bring my entire wardrobe and beauty collection with me.
